My Nana was such a happy-go-lucky person and always seemed to put smiles on people’s faces no matter what was happening. I could be here all day reminiscing about her. Leanne and I spent wonderful days and some nights at Nana and Papa’s almost eating our own body weight in sweets, arguing over who had the Bugs Bunny hot water bottle and with her pleading with me to be better behaved at school. I don't know what she meant. One of the main memories I have is Nana sticking up for Craig and me when we accidentally smashed a pane of glass in Papa’s greenhouse with a football and she smoothed things over as usual. I am so glad my own 2 children Mia and Alfie got to spend time with little Nana, as they knew her, on lots of family occasions, and later at the Beeches. She would go off with them to explore the corridors, public rooms, cinema etc before returning laden with drinks and snacks, so you see not a lot changed from when she used to look after me. Our much loved Nana will be missed so greatly by myself, Danielle, Mia and Alfie although if I know her, I’ll bet she's causing Papa headaches up there already
